A hyperlink from the index enables users to go to a specific chemical using the UN/NA identification number or the seven digit 48 or 49 Hazmat Code used by the railroads. The CD also includes high-quality graphics of all the DOT colored placards. The placards can be copied and pasted in other documents, such as customized training programs.

REQUIREMENTS:

The CD operates with both Windows® and Apple®. The CD contains PDF files of the Emergency Handling of Hazardous Materials in Surface Transportation and 2008 Emergency Response Guidebook and operates directly from the CD. The latest version of Acrobat® Reader is included and loads automatically upon insertion, provided the computer is set to automatically read the CD. Instructions are provided to load Acrobat Reader manually, if needed.
